Best Foot Forward wins award for supply chain footprinting

Best Foot Forward won the award for best Environment Product/Service at the Sustainability Live! Environment and Energy Awards last night. 

The company beat off stiff competition from Debut Services, Kwik-Klik Hoardings Limited, Plastic Surgeon, Unipart Technology Logistics/Sky and URS. 

The award was for its new service, Product Portfolio Footprinting, which enables businesses with complex supply chains and thousands of different products to quickly measure and manage their carbon footprint. 

This approach was piloted with FMCG sector organisations including Tesco, Pepsico, WRAP and Crown Paints, to help these businesses understand and reduce greenhouse gas emissions throughout their supply chains. 

The judges noted how the service “took a very complex subject and made it simple”. 

Chris Stanley, a director of Best Foot Forward who collected the award at the ceremony last night said:
